Profile
I grew up in Cold War West Berlin, graduated from an international school, JFKS Berlin, with German Abitur and US High School Diploma, played Hockey, sung in choirs, participated in C.I.S.V. exchanges, in Jugend forscht science fairs and Robocup competitions and with Christo und Jeanne-Claude „Wrapped Reichstag“, stayed overnight at Tresor as well as studied computer science and business management at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
My first computer was a TRS-80 model 1, which only came with a manual, so I had to learn to program my own games for. During High school, I started working at one of Berlin's very first Internet Service Provider, beehive GmbH. As CTO (chief technical officer) during the dot-COM era, I successfully managed several high profile projects. This is also the birth place for my life-long passion project, MetaPublisher. I later left the company to pursue further career development and tried my hand at self-employment, freelance work and permanent roles in various positions.
Nowadays, I like to describe myself as a System Architect and Solution Engineer. I have created solutions for government, healthcare, finance, media, and many other industries. I have professional experience in code & data, layout & design, print & tv, planning & workflows, as well as management & leadership. I am currently seeking new opportunities, while acquiring new skills and learning new technologies and at the same time expanding on my own projects, such as integrating Artificial Intelligence into MetaPublisher.
